Goodwin College Spring 2022

So! I'm applying for Goodwin for the Spring start time. Not sure if my points can compete this time around. I have currently 16 points and I'm not even slightly optimistic. where are you guys with points?

I just got my acceptance letter! Didn’t see my points or cutoff but I think I had 19. Hope to meet y’all soon and make some friends. If you see an Asian guy with crutches at orientation, you’ll know it’s me. Hahah just got my meniscus surgery done. Best wishes!

Can’t wait to meet you guys. I don’t think they are having orientations but hopefully that change. If it doesn’t see you guys in class!

Hi guys! So long story short, they misspelled my name and thought I never sent in my tea’s score! I called them and they said I was accepted and I should receive my package in the mail sometime next week. Does anyone know when we are supposed to register for class? Does it say in the packet?

I know registration opened up this week but I’m going to wait until I have a meeting with my advisor. Just wondering if anyone is in microbio on Wednesdays? I don’t really know anyone’s name in class but maybe we’re already in class together? ?

Hey all! Does anyone know about the 7-4 at  Goodwin University schedule? Is that like a Monday-Friday thing? I’m confused. I tried to email and asked the question in two different ways but IDK what days the7-4 means

Okay that’s what I was thinking. But now I have class Monday and was assigned clinical on Monday so IDK how that will work ??

Hey Elizabeth! I was assigned the Monday morning clinical too so I switched from the Monday morning class to the evening class which is 5pm to 8pm! So it’s just going to be a long day ?

I was thinking that too but I’m sure my brain will be so fried after that I won’t retain much ? and I’ll be away from my kids all day which will also make me sad but that’s probably the easiest to do

I have been accepted for the Summer semester and was curious about any supplies or even hints you have found helpful to be successful or to just make this first semester easier/smoother? thanks ?

Hey. For me I wouldn't be too intimidated. I didn't over do it. Just got what was necessary. At least for me I've found the first semester to be not that difficult and I didn't have any medical background for the most part.  I'm not sure how others experiences have been as we have different clinical instructors. I have heard though that the future semesters don't compare in difficulty so I'm scared ?
