Goodwin College Spring 2018 ASN Program

Hello everyone,

this forum is for people who didn't get accepted into the Fall 2017 ASN class and for the new comers! I didn't make it for Fall 2017 since the cutoff was higher than the points I earned but I'll just try again and work harder.

Let's encourage each other and see what next year does!

If you do not get accepted this time around and decide to try again, I can try to help you study for the TEAS. That test will be the downfall of many qualified students. You just gotta keep pushin'!! í ½í¸€

Congrats, RN-nurse! I feel you'll be just fine! That's fantastic! That's a good place to be! The cutoff was 17 last time. I know I've been thinking about things but I think it's best I stay at Goodwin. I feel I benefit being there more. I think I prepared for the worst because I was worried I won't finish school but I have to think positive. I'm doing really well at Goodwin and maybe I need another try to get it right if it comes down to it.

I know some people with low scores get in but we'll see what happens. Aww thanks so much. I just have to improve in the science, math, and English. My reading was very good.

Yes it always has been a hard test. I took it before it became the TEAS 6 for other programs and I got basic everytime I took it but taking it now, I'm scoring at proficient but need improvements. Standardized tests can be hard and yes it befalls a lot of qualified applicants. It all depends on how many they take and where the cut off is.

Hi all I just took the Teas today and did worse this time than last!!! It was so hard! Ugh does anyone know if Goodwin uses the best teas test grade like if I did better last time do they use that instead? Thanks !

And I'm pretty sure they take your best teas score as long as the test was completed in the appropriate time frame.

Thank you! It's so hard to stay positive but I am trying that's for sure! I ended up getting a 60 on the teas this time but I had a 69 last time. Overalll last teas go around I had 16 points with my 69 and with my new score of 60 I'd have 14 so I am hoping they take my 69 from last semester so I still have my 16. How about you? How many points are you going to have ? Thanks for letting me know :)

Aww I'm sorry to hear, BNS24. That's awful. I'm right there with you. A lot of people had a tough time, we'll have to see what happens. My GPA is excellent but the TEAS wasn't good this time around for me either. I'm trying to remain positive as I can. It's so tough.
