Goodwin College Spring 2018 ASN Program

Hello everyone,

this forum is for people who didn't get accepted into the Fall 2017 ASN class and for the new comers! I didn't make it for Fall 2017 since the cutoff was higher than the points I earned but I'll just try again and work harder.

Let's encourage each other and see what next year does!

We got this! 17 looks to be the minimum to get in... hopefully these 4 months will help us all ! :)

I am aiming to apply for summer 2018. I still need to take microbiology.

Hello everyone, my TEAS test will be the 31st of this month. I've been focused on my weak points. Has anyone taken the test already? How did you all do?

I worked really hard in my summer classes and did very well. I just need have to get better than what I got last time which was a 62. I need 4-6 points. We'll see how things go. Best of luck if you haven't taken the TEAS yet! :)

Hi All,

I take mine in about 2 weeks. Super nervous! Can't believe it came up so quick! Good luck to you all.

Good luck! I know you've got this! I know things went really fast. I'm sure I'll be alright. Just have to think positively.

Hi everyone,

things didn't go very well today. Although I scored really high in the reading with an 83% which was a big improvement from last time I had a 68.1%.The rest wasn't very good.

Math was a 53%

Science was a 44.7% when I scored a 61.7% last time

English was a 58.3% when it was 75%.

So I scored at 60. I don't know what this means for me now but I do have back up plans if this doesn't work out again. Even with my 4.0GPA I worked so hard to get, I'm not sure if I'll get in and I've been at it awhile now. I may be going to get an LPN because it's been very hard on me to get the RN. I have no idea what will happen to me.

I hope the rest of you have done well or will do well when it's your test date! I tried my best and studied my best and I feel there were more changes to this test than last time.

Sorry to hear that :( a lot of people so far had said it's really hard this go around. Has anyone else taken the TEAs yet this go around ?

I agree, the reading was a lot more easier this time around. The Science was a lot harder this time, I felt the math was easier but I'm not the best in it, the English was a bit harder this time since last time.

Good luck! I hope for the best for you. All we can do is wait and see what happens now. I tried my best.

Ugh. The science was rough last time? I heard there were a lot of chemistry questions. Hopefully that's not the case. Best of luck. Standardized tests are so difficult!!!

I am applying with 20 points total. I just took the TEAS today and got an 80. Hopefully, 20 is enough to be accepted! Good Luck to everyone!

Peacelove889,

If you do not get accepted this time around and decide to try again, I can try to help you study for the TEAS. That test will be the downfall of many qualified students. You just gotta keep pushin'!!
