I was a slacker too, to be honest. I have taken on a lot of debt to either accumulate a new GPA or to replace grades that were below the cutoff. I have been pursuing the prereqs and necessary GPA for going on 2 years... I hope I get in! Goodwin allows you to use the GPA accumulated at their school so long as you take 4 courses with them. For someone like myself, it gives me the opportunity to prove I have matures since the last time I was a student. If I were to work off my prior GPA, I would need to take 13 classes and get all As just to meet the minimum requirements for the state ABSN programs.

I was told the first week in March and it’s sent by mail. Just curious, how many points did you get?

I only have like 10 or 11 I think ?I took 4 classes this past semester at goodwin because my bachelors was from a different school. my GPA is a 3.8 but I also only got a 72.7 on the TEAS

Got a lot riding on this. Really wishing for some good news. How many points did you get?
Me too I am so anxious everyday. Good luck to you! I have 2 points for 4 courses 4 for GPA and 4 points for my TEAS score. So I have 10 points and I’m really hoping that’s still enough judging from the cut off of 8 points from the last cohort.

Hello,
I am applying to Goodwin's Accelerated BSN program. Due to unprecedented circumstances, all of my eggs are in this one basket and my career path (and essentially my life) is on hold for another year if I do not get into this program. Does anyone know the point score of someone who got in or an average? or any statistical insight into the acceptance of this program?
I have estimated that I will end up with around 17-19 points depending on my TEAS score. (4.0 GPA, 4 classes at their school, completed BS degree, TEAS score somewhere in the low to high 80s) Is this anywhere close or should I start thinking of a backup career plan?
I am frustrated because I was assured by a recruiter that my estimated score is within the mean, but no one else within the school will even hint if I am anywhere close. I am just told that ever class differs and "we recommend you do as well as you can". I need some hope!
Someone, please give some insight! Thank you.
