Goodbye...

For quite awhile, I've been feeling more and more dissatisfied with the content, tone, and bent of many, many threads on this board.

I think I've just hit my limit.

I'm formally withdrawing from participation here.

To some of you, farewell...

To others, good riddance...

The moderators should have shut that down when it turned into nasty personal attacks and conjecture.

It should have been an informative discussion of how to make nursing clinicals worthwhile.

Anyway, sorry to see you go. Maggie

I'm sorry to hear that; you're one of the members here I enjoy reading. I understand what you mean, though; I've changed how I participate.

Please don't leave altogether. Take a breather, then just post on threads that are less controversial. If you must leave, though, I'll understand.

You could've picked and chosen which threads to read... to get involved in.. or to respond to.

This is cyber space... don't take it to heart.

Nooooooooooo. Some of us, and I mean me, look forward to reading your posts. Although I do understand where you are coming from. Hope you drop in every now and help us very scared and freaked out nursing students!!!! Take care

That ^^^...please don't go! I've enjoyed reading your posts - you have so much to contribute...just ignore the meanies!

Not another one these "goodbye, cruel AN" posts...

Sorry to hear that! I love your user name it is so fresh and positive! We need that kind of uplifting to help cope with the stresses of nursing. I know I come across as cynical in many of my posts, but allnursing gives me a place to vent and find support and know that I'm not alone in my struggles. Will miss you, your posts and your delightful music in my heart user name! Wish you the best! Hope you reconsider!

We will miss you, but I understand 100%. Hopefully after a few months you will return. I simply avoid certain threads or posts by certain people that I simply cannot tolerate. Just know that I enjoyed your posts and hope you enjoy your time away.

I have really enjoyed your posts and have learned a lot from you. I have admired your honesty and integrity. I hope you return someday - maybe under a new name- because you have a lot to offer here.

Oh no! I looked at a couple of your post before and they were quite helpful to me! Best wishes always!

I totally get what you are doing. I was reading your last post and the comments...finally, I had enough of reading the comments and just ignored the rest. It was just to frustrating. I think that is the only way to save yourself, sometimes - just read a few of the comments, and once it starts getting negative - to just shut that part of your reading down!

Everyone has an opinion, and thoughts cannot always be interpreted through text. So, even a sentence as simple as "I didn't say he did it" can have a lot of different meanings - depending on where the person places emphasis.

...and of course...no good deed goes unpunished....

best of luck - I am going to miss reading your posts!!

For a moment I thought you were going to say you had Ebola. I need to keep away from the news (:

Good luck to you.

....You were my ED inspiration...sad....
