Good Website to find Lab Values?

I'm having the hardest time finding normal lab values for RBC, WBC, electrolytes,bilirubin, amylase etc?

I've checked websites but I keep finding different lab ranges. I'm so fustrated.

anyone know any good websites or anywhere I can find this information?

there are three sites i know of that can be used to check lab values and get information on a variety of tests:

• lab tests online http://www.labtestsonline.org/ - this is the website that is posted by medline plus so i would use the lab values on it's website as the baseline values since medline plus is the consumer information site sanctioned by the national intitutes of health and the national library of medicine.
  
• medicine net procedures & tests a to z index http://www.medicinenet.com/procedures_and_tests/article.htm
  
• web md index list of tests http://www.webmd.com/a_to_z_guide/medical_tests.htm

I would go with the above websites. However, each facility is different with what is considered normal. For example, I learned in nursing school (textbook) normal potassium is 3.5-5.0. In the facility I work for, it's 3.2-5.0. I would go by the value in your med-surg book, assuming you are a student.

daytonite, I checked on labtestsonline.org but I'm still having a hard time finding the section for the specific lab value range. I click into a certain test and it will just tell me info on the test and not the lab range. Where do I find the lab values on that site?

Use the WebMD or MedicineNet sites to get ranges. Labs Online doesn't always give you lab values and just explains the tests.
