Good Samaritan NICU - San Jose

Has anyone been in the starRN program for the NICU department? How was it?

For those who work at Good Samaritan, how is it for you? Was it a supportive environment? My dream speciality is to be in the NICU but I I've also heard not-so-great things about HCA. 

Please let me know your experiences!!

Why not get a tour of the unit? You are not going to work in the conference room where they held interviews.

Bring on the floors, ask questions, "where is the med room", How many beds? nurses for those beds? What is the schedule for today? Nurses on floor compared to census, assistive personnel?

How was the actual interview?Pretty standard questions? I have a NICU interview at a different hospital but am wanting a bunch of question samples to prepare!

ah goshh we are the same LMAO; fr every email notification I get I am so frantic LOL. and no I don't know if they send rejection emails.....at this point I was wondering when the best time to send a follow up email is, if thats a good idea ?

OMG I was just thinking the same.. I was planning to call the recruiter but I wasn't sure if it was too soon or a good idea either..

aw jeezzz ? I must say though, it is nice knowing that I'm not alone with this LOL; I was thinking if I didn't hear anything by today, maybe id send something next Monday....since they did say we should expect to hear back by the end of this week hmmm. I've never sent a follow up email after an interview before, so this will be a first time for me if it comes to that point LMAO

HAHA yes it's nice to know we're in the same boat so it gives me a little of hope that they're just slow on sending out their decisions? Update me if you get a response after sending a follow up email please!
