does anybody know or currently attend any good rn-bsn programs? i'd like to start fall 09, and finish in two years or less fulltime.

so far i've looked at UMDNJ/rowan, but rowan is too far from me. I'd love felician, but what concerns me is that they're not NLNAC accredited, plus the cost.

I applied to kean, they sent me a packet and it looks like it might take me 3 yrs to complete the program full time, as they only transfer about 40 credits.

I believe I've missed the deadline for rutgers.

NJCU sounds good though i'd just like more info, as their website doesnt say much.

Anybody currently attending/attended/know of a rn-bsn program? feedback is welcome

I went straight for my BSN at Ramapo College and I know they have an RN-BSN program. I loved my experience there.. you should check it out!

I live in the mercer county area and am currenlty in the umdnj/rowan program. I started this summer and its going to take five semesters. Only four of the classes are hybrid and two of the classes are graduate classes with umdnj and the rest entirely online. 9 nursing classes all together and a writing intensive class every one must take with rowan. With the hybrid classes you will attend rowan one day a week for 6weeks I believe and then online for 8weeks. The graduate level classes are with umdnj and you would attend the south jersey umdnj school for 4 weeks- one day a week and 12 weeks online. Your semester is set up in the way that you take one online class(8wks) and one hybrid class (14weeks) and or graduate class (16weeks). You can transfer up to 90credits including 6credits of nursing classes that has to be from a bsn program must have a minimum of b in the nursing program you would want to transfer. The cost is $400 per credit and $357 per credit for the graduate classes.

I did the Kean RN to BSN program in 2 years. I took it at the Ocean County campus and it was very convenient. You do a lot of papers and independent learning but you only have to go to class 1 day every other week or so. I took about 9-11 credits/semester and it took me 2 years. I dont know if they have a similar program at the main campus in Union. Good luck
