what is a good "in demand" career in the medical field?

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I want to do SOMETHING in the medical field and first i thought of RN, LPN , x-ray tech, sonographer. but overall i want to become an nurse anethesist. but i need to get started with a career because i cant wait that long to start my career. What which career would be the best to start off with if i need to do something fast and to work my way up to be a nurse anethesist? and how exactly would i go about doing that?

If you truly want to become a CRNA, go to RN school. Get your bachelor's degrees in nursing. Don't waste your time in anything else (i.e. Lpn, xray tech, etc.) It will take you about three years or so to get your RN. You might want to see about following nurse around for a day to se if you even want to do that. Can't do Anesthesia w/o being an RN first. Hope this helps. Julie
