Good affordable lpn programs in new jersey?

Published

Hello! I am looking to take an lpn program that is affordable and has great reviews. Can anyone recommend a good lpn program to me in central nj??? Thanks so much!:cheeky:

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Try the county vocational schools. They are public schools, somewhat competitive , generally have good reputations and high NCLEX pass rates. Plus are significantly less cost than the private for-profit trade schools. In county residents pay less than out of county/state

In all honesty, forego the LPN course and go to RN. I graduated in 2010, still no job and being denied for no experience. Save yourself the 9k and heartache. I regret not going straight for my RN. There is a medical assistant course you can take if you need a job quick, though. Best wishes.

I would disagree... I say go for the lpn to have a foot in the door. I graduated from my LPN course in August of 2010 took state boards in September and had a job in November.. I have always had employment and never had a problem getting a job..... I've made pretty good money. I'm now enrolled in my RN and will be finishing august 2014... Hope that helps :)
