The two main places I'm looking in are Utah in or around Provo and Arizona anywhere in the valley but I prefer the west valley. i have a problem where I ask questions to get information from the schools but many times i end up missing things or not asking the questions that would have saved me much time, money, or headache in the future.
So as I'm going hunting for the right school for me what do you think I really need to ask when I contact these schools?
Oh and do any of you recommend any school in the areas that I'm looking in? Or even have schools in mind that I need to stay away from?
Thank you to those who help me out. :nuke:
I hope that in the future I can help support others in this community as well as I learn more.Hmmm.. and maybe I should learn to spell nursing correctly hehe.

You want to ask them how many pre-reqs they require and in what subjects. You also want to ask how competitive the program is, how many seats they have available.Sometimes you might only be able to get this info out of the students though. What they require as far as admission. Some ask for interviews, essays, entrance exams ect. Then any other personal things you might like to know. Like what clinical sites they use, tuition for sure and what their NCLEX passrate is.

The Phoenix schools have an 18-month wait-list.

I would also ask their retention rate. Find out how many enter and how many make it to graduation along with the NCLEX pass rate.
