Golden West College (GWC) RN Program 2025

Published

Hi, This is a thread for the Golden West College RN program for Fall 2025 semester.  If anyone is applying, How many points do you have? Good luck everyone!

I currently have 58 points to apply, but was maybe considering on retaking the TEAS one more time to try and bring up my average points. I feel quite nervous about the application, and getting admission.

I just applied with 79

I have 56 points. A 4.0 with 82% TEAS score and other points combined but with zero experience or volunteer hours. I honestly don't think I'm getting in with my points. Good luck guys! Y'all got this.

I submitted my application then later realized that I forgot to put the school year from my previous nursing school I attended. I went to send new application form, but there's a note on top saying to contact nursing department to send another form. It allowed me to send a completely new form and I submitted it. Do you think I still need to contact nursing department? I also received a confirmation from my school email that my application was received. Just so anxious with this application. Goodluck to everyone!

You will never know! I believe that as long as you're qualified there's possibilities for you. Good luck!

Hi, I applied with 57 points. I have a 3.6 cumulative GPA, 3.0 science GPA, 1,500 hours of CNA work experience and a 92% TEAS score. I got straight B's in my science courses so that is what mostly lowered my points. Wishing us all luck !!

Hi everyone!

I applied with 87 points. Golden West (and their CEP Program) is my top school, so I geared all of my classes toward their Multi-Point Criteria. I heard in my Nursing 101 class at Golden West that they opened up more spots for students this application cycle (I don't know how many), so hopefully we all make it with the application/points we have!

If you need help on this let me know! I just took it yesterday, and I put all the Science Mometrix information into an Anki Cloze Deck, so it's like 2000+ science flashcards for TEAS. I scored 91.3% total, and 98% on the science portion. Happy to share the resources I made to learn and study.

I'm almost identical to your stats. Zero experience too. Good luck to us both

Hi y'all!

I've applied to both CEP and the ADN program at Golden West and I have 86 points. My science GPA was 3.7. I have the max number of direct patient care hours and I got an 88% on my TEAS. I also took all the optional classes, and have the veteran bonus.

Anyone hear back yet regarding acceptance?
