Nothing yet. Can I ask, how many points did you apply with?

I honestly don't remember...but I think it was around 50 something. How about you? I think I read somewhere in this thread that some people around the 50-60's got accepted?

SammelMorris said a couple pages back: "For the first month, you go through a "boot camp" where you are there for 4 days a week getting basic skills down before clinicals then it moves into 2 days a week of class."

Has anyone heard any updates about scrubs or textbooks? I talked to Ashley, the nursing aide, when I dropped off my clinical questionnaire a couple weeks ago but I haven't seen any updates since. She told me they might be changing providers for scrubs and for books they might go with an ebook bundle.

Do you think it's doable for us to work like 12hrs per week during the program? And for the first or second semesters, what was your schedule like? Thanks

I'd say 12 hrs is definitely doable. I've talked to previous students who have worked full time while in the program because they had to and they made it work. Not the ideal situation but it's been done.

It's already August and haven't received any email from SON, guess my points were too low. Has any alternates received any good news?

Hey guys!!! Just checking in about anyone needing a roommate during the nursing program. Message me if you know anyone who needs someone to move in. Im not opposed to living in the living room to help out with rent for my first semester at gwc. Thanks and congrats to all who will be going through this journey with me.

Hey everyone,

for those placed on the Alternate list, has anyone received notice about being accepted or told to wait till spring of '17? I know last year they sent emails in August but after reading the thread I see sometimes they don't send emails!
