Going to start Excelsior soon

Published

Well I hope to be starting Excelsior in the next few weeks. I'm waiting on the application process. My GI bill was approved. I'm looking for any ideas or study habits you might like to share with me if you have gone this route. It has been a few years since I've been in school, and this will be the first correspondence school ever. I'm starting to feel a little over whelmed and i have even started. Any ideas would be great.

thanks.

Hey, I am in the same boat as you. I am a medic and finally decided waiting for the local tech school was not worth it. I will be using the GI Bill also and understand that they pay for all the exams with vouchers including the cpne. My buddy just graduated from Excelsior and said he used a fundamentals of nursing, Med-Surg, and a Pediatrics text. The website has free exam content guides as pdf files. My buddy also used "Robs CPNE" guide which is fairly cheap and lays out the entire process. You can google it to find his site. That is pretty much the route I am going to go. If they are any other tips out there please make them known. Good luck to you.
