Going to MEPS

I am scheduled to go to MEPS this Friday. Looking for any info about what this day is going to entail. How long is the day? I've read they can be stingy with your height, is this the norm? How soon after MEPS will I get to schedule the interview? Should I bring anything? What should I wear? Sports bra and boy cut underwear? Thanks for any answers!!

I will be going to the Nashville MEPS. Anyone ever experience this one?

I went to the Nashville MEPS in January. It was not bad. No one was mean to me. The guy that took my blood was so funny. I think I was there at 5 am and I left at 1 pm. The process felt disorganized and we were hearded around from one thing to another. Just remember to bring the paperwork you are supposed to bring. I forgot my social security card and had to reschedule.

For the ladies, don't wear a sports bra wear a regular one. I had on a black Victoria Secret bra and the hipster cut underwear. I didn't run into any problems. The girls with sports bras did.

That's odd. I went to MEPS in Dallas and wore a black sports bra and had no problems. For the neuromuscular part, I felt much more comfortable in my sports bra. My recruiter told me that I could wear scrubs, so I did and was very comfortable all day. They did get on to some people for wearing shorts that were too short or tops that were cut too low. Also, if you are there as a nurse candidate, you should be a VIP. When I checked in, the guy wrote VIP on my tag and I had no problems all day. Everyone was very nice. I was so worried after all of the horror stories I had heard, but my experience at MEPS was good. Good luck!
