Yes, it is spreading everywhere.

I worked with a nurse last night who told me about her 16 yr old nephew in Boston. He has Down's Syndrome and was recently diagnosed with cancer. The Make a Wish Foundation sent kids from his hospital unit to see a Red Sox game. He was so thrilled and had a great time. He came down with the flu right after the game. His doctors are saying he might not survive. While it was a lovely idea to take these kids to that game, I have to question the wisdom of sending immuno-compromised children to sit in a crowd in the middle of a flu pandemic. What were they thinking? His parents are devasted.
