God Bless!

I request that everyone take a minute and say a prayer for the men and women fighting over seas in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as for the military personal and healthcare workers who are in Africa and in the U.S. who are helping those effected by Ebola!

I hope they come back safe, pray for the families of those who don't, the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. May god bless the United States of America and her allies! I am so thankful my brother just made it home safe from his deployment over seas.

I am not sure if this thread is in the right place...or if it will get moved.

Be thankful for everyone in your life, life is precious!

HPRN, thank you for reminding us to be thankful for the good things in our lives. Often we take them all for granted. We all need to be a little more humble and appreciate those who put themselves in harms way for our safety. I am watching the morning news as I write this and look at how many people live in places where war is present. Currently our lives are rather safe. Be thankful and say the prayers that address the goodness in life.

the people OP mentioned are real heros. We need them and should support them.

Thank you. Yes be thankful we can go to school as women and are not oppressed. We are fairly safe and free in the U.S., although there is a peaked level of danger recently and I hope everyone has some good awareness about what is going on around them, always be alert!

I hope Canada heals quickly from their recent losses, such a waste of life.
