Hello! I recently completed my nursing courses but i am having a difficult time passing the exit exam (hesi/NLN) failed by 1-2 pts.. Should i register for hurst review or kaplan?

i hear kaplan is supposed to be good, either should be fine, from my understanding the NLN exit examinations are in sort of a pilot-beta product phase and shouldn't be used to keep people from graduating.
Unfortunately my school requires it.. Its part of our last sem curriculum

instead of paying more $ to take a review course, why not use a good study guide? i relied on saunders nclex review (and bonus cd w/3500 questions!) and lacharity.
the nln exit was also a requirement for graduation from the school i attended. it was stated in our ns contract! we could not score lower than 85% or 90%. it was crazy.
but lemme tell you, it forced me to get prepared and nclex-ready. it really will be good for you!
i wish you the best

That may be the problem, you are using too many material, and not giving any one piece of material to work. It is a process, all you need is 3 pieces of material, and eventually, you will see a pattern. You need to know your CORE CONTENT, may I recommend HURST REVIEW, your Saunders Comprehensive and P/D/A by Linda LaCharity. That should be your foundation, and as you need to be challenged, then you can add more material such as Kaplan.
Good luck......
I have all three actually.. I've allowed myself to study each book, well, not the time i really wanted to have, they scheduled our test by 2 & a half weeks apart at the most.. Thank you so much! You've all helped me a whole lot! :)
