I am graduating August 5th from Texas Christian University's School of Nursing with my BSN from the accelerated program. I have been looking desperately for a GN position in Houston, which is where I am planning to move. I have applied to St. Luke's and have not heard anything! I've been calling once a week and they said they are still scheduling interviews. Has anyone heard anything for the September residency? Also, does anyone else know of any other GN programs at other hospitals that start in September? It seems all residency programs start in December/January! I am also thinking about applying to Maxim Health Care as a last resort. Any advice?

cypress fairbanks medical center, they also have a sign on bonus for loan repayment
I have called them and they are not hiring the new class until January. Very frustrating! Does anyone know the name of the recruiter or manager's at St. Lukes? I have called repeatedly and they said they are still scheduling interviews! I would love to actually get a person's name and send my resume to them directly!

Hopefully there will be some openings in January. If you get a heads up on anything please post it! I will definitely do the same

Have you tried Methodist? They already hired the majority of their new nurses, but once in a while they will post a position and hire a couple more new grads at a time. They did most of their hiring in April/ May but they have already hired a couple more since then.
FYI, they post new positions on Wednesdays and the job title you would want to look for is Registered Nurse 1, not GN or anything like that like some other facilities call it.
Good luck :)
