hello I am so confused. anyone have a simple way of learning this. I am a visual learner so any websites with animations that someone knows of would be helpful. thanks

You can visit some anatomy pages. Mcgraw hill has a good one. Also try Holes anatomy companion site. But the thing that helped me understand and be able to remember the Krebs cycle is something I found on a website called medical mnemonics. They have a lot of acronyms and memory tricks you can use to help remember lots of information involving A&P and Microbiology.

Here is a mnemonic device that I WILL NEVER FORGET for the krebs cycle:

Officer- oxaloacetate

Can - citric acid

I - isocitric acid

Keep - @ketoglutaric acid

Selling - Succynl

Sex - Succinate

For - Fumaric Acid

Money - Malic Acid

This is just a quick one and all it does is list the acids that are made in the Citric Acid cycle, but if you imagine the face of a clock and enter the acids in order, then input your FADs and NADs and just keep looking at it for a while over and over again, I'm sure you cana get it. Also do a search for Anatomy web sites. I used the Hole's Anatomy companion site and it was very helpful.

Hope this helps some,

Laura

thank you all so much!;)
