hello there, anyone there already signed with global scholarship alliance? i went to their office at taipan place and talked to me about their study-work program. Their program will entitle me to have an F-1 visa valid for 4 and a half years. They said I could finish study in around 3 and a half years, so I wold be able to work full time during the remaining 1 yr. But while studying, I would work for a min of 20 hrs/ week and I would be receiving a salary at the current rate. I would not have to pay anything to them and they will reimburse what I spent on my nclex and ielts. they said that the process would take around 4-6 months or may be earlier than that. I would just have to undergo an interview with their agency, interview with the employer/ hospital, file for my student visa at US embassy and pass an online examination similar to nclex. And the best thing is that after my 4 and a half years there, i could change my F-1 visa into either immigrant or working visa.
If anyone there could give me an advice about this if this is worth considering.
Thank you very much!!!

hi..global scholarship alliance have helped alot of registered nurses.now,be very careful with what you sign..after the program you have to go home to fullfil the 2 year home residency program.if you have signed the contract, make sure you really are going home.alot of nurses are lured to the fact they will go to the united states but guess what when they are there they will forget the fact that they have to go home too.so stick with the plan of getting an education and of course you can still earn the dollars you wish for.good luck to anyone who is applying for a job at GSA...

well i've signed up with GSAand they're offering us F! visa. according to what i've researched so far. thosa who are F1 visa holders can immediately apply for immigrant visas after they have returned to their country of origin unlike those who hold J1 visa coz they're really required to render social service to theie country of origin for 2 years. the pay that the hospital (employer) is offering us is quite ok actually considering that it wud just be our starting pay. hope, everything wud go according to plan so that we can achieve our American Dream despite the retrogression that has been tormenting thousands of filipino nurses and their families.
be careful what you wish for because you might get it..some things are not well explained in a contract..now, if you really wish to go back to the country of origin after your scholarship that is heroic..just ask questions with the perks they are offering..some tips..read the contract before you sign it..it may not be the same one you have if you are in the US...just a friendly reminder..good luck in your endeavours..

Sorry, but the facts that you have are not entirely true. Sure, one can apply for the green card, but they need to be available for anything further to happen. And that is not the case of what is going on at this time, you also cannot begin to work immediately when you arrive in the US. Just not going to happen and you need to have additional special approval to be able to work by the US Government, this agency cannot issue any type of work documents to you.
