Glendale Community College Winter/Spring 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

This thread is for anyone applying to GCC's nursing program for Winter/Spring 2021. Good luck ?

Hi Everyone! Will be applying too, good luck to all ?

I took my TEAS mid-July and just submitted my application. Good luck everyone!

Hi all, this is the first time I ever apply to a nursing program! I just mailed in my application to GCC. So far I'm applying to GCC, LAHC, Rio Hondo, and Cypress. Really want to apply to LACC and PCC but I don't see any information about Spring 2021. Maybe they cancelled.

Forgot to introduce myself, but this is my second time reapplying to GCC, sadly, I didn't get in for the Summer/Fall cohort. I also applied to LACONAH and going to apply to Rio Hondo and PCC. Good luck everyone!

Are you talking about LACONAH? If so, their Spring 2021 application period was from June 15-July 15. And PCC is going to open their Spring 2021 application on Oct. 1!

Los Angeles City College!

Really?! I’m excited! I’ve been checking PCC’s page and haven’t seen a date. Thank you for informing me. Maybe I’m looking at the wrong information.

Well I'm not completely sure on the date but usually PCC's Spring application period opens on Oct. 1 so I'm assuming it's that date haha

I attended one of PCC's Zoom info sessions. This was going to be the first year they opened to app from July 1st - July 31st, but COVID pushed that back. They are hoping to open it from Oct 1st - Oct 31st, but it really all depends on how things are with COVID at that point. Hoping they don't have to cancel admitting for Spring 2021.

Thanks for sharing @marmar1394 on PCC's situation. Don't forget to mail in apps to GCC everyone as the deadline is approaching!

Hello did anyone receive a email confirmation from the nursing department that their application was received in the mail? I remember hearing during the Zoom info session that they would be doing that to let us know that they received our application but not sure if that is the case? I just dropped mines off two days ago at the post office so I wanted to ask just to make sure I keep a look out in my inbox. Thanks in advance ?

I haven’t, but I don’t remember them saying they would. Hopefully they do tho! I sent mine via FedEx on Monday and it was apparently delivered on Tuesday based on the tracking information, but I’m still so tempted to email them for confirmation. Makes me anxious since there was so much sensitive info sent haha

Hello @marmar1394 thanks! Yes, so much sensitive info. I got mines certified by USPS and it says it was just delivered today. I'll give them a few days to a week to hopefully send a confirmation as I know they are not going into the office constantly due to COVID restrictions by the college.
