Glendale Community College ADN program Spring 2010

Published

Hello!

Wondering if there are any applicants for Glendale Community College for Spring 2010??????

Hi:

I was accepted for the night/weekend program as well, starting Jan 4th! I turned in my intent form today and did the fingerprint and drug test today as well. I asked them how many people were accepted and there was only 20! Crazy, huh?! I'm so excited! Can't wait to meet all of you that will be doing the night/weekend program as well!

Congrats everyone! :D

Hey risa1191013!

I'm super excited that you got into GCC's weekend/evening program too! You're the first evening/weekend-er I've met so far :) Can't wait 'til we actually get to take classes & meet in person!

It's nice to meet a fellow night/weekend-er as well! I guess we will get all the answers to our questions at the orientation. Which orientation day are you attending?

I'm going to the Wednesday one ... how about you??

I am as well! I guess I'll see you there! :D

Hi --

I am still doing my pre-reqs (some at Rio and some at Phoenix College), but those of you in GCC's Night/Weekend program, and VIVASMOM too - I have a couple of questions. I work full time, so I'm trying to figure out the Night/Weekend thing at GCC. Do any of you have any idea how the hours work? AND how long did you have your app in before you got accepted? It is very hard to tell by the college websites. It looked to me like the classes and lab were only during weekdays -- I am sure I am not understanding. Anything you have to share now and as you go along would be wonderful!!! AND congratulations!

Hi GCC future students, CONGRATS!! I am curious do all of you have high GPA'S? what were your scores in theTEAS? Do you have experience in the medical field? Did you do your pre-reqs in Glendale? I will appreciate any feedback? Thank you so much!!

Hi Mamomi!

My GPA wasn't so high...I have a 3.3 overall GPA and a 3.5 gpa in the science classes (no repeats). I got an 87.9% on the TEAS, have high school experience in the medical field (from an ROP class), and I do not attend glendale (I did all my pre-reqs at CSUN)

Hello!! I was accepted for the Spring 2010 program too!! I was selected for the evening/weekend schedule...I am so excited!! I scored an 84 on the TEAS, my overall GPA is 3.9, and my sciences were 4.0....I am also a hospital volunteer at Valley Pres...

Thanks for your replies future GCC students!! =)

Hi mamomi!

I am another Spring'10 Evening/Weekend-er :) Here's my info: overall GPA = 3.25, and science GPA = 4.0. I got an 87.1% on the TEAS. & last fall I volunteered at Glendale Memorial Hospital.

Hope this helps & best wishes as you work toward applying to nursing school!!

Hello Pickaname! GCC's Evening/Weekend option holds classes on weekdays, after 4pm. Clinicals are typically all day Saturday (sometimes clinicals take place on Sunday). I submitted my application on July 7 & got my letter of acceptance on November 13.

Hope this helps & best wishes to you!
