I got in to the weekend evening program too! Does anyone know the hours or any other details? I'm waiting on PCC too and am hoping they get their emails out by GCC's May 11 deadline! Congrats to all!

I got accepted to the Standard program. Yaaay!

My only problem is that I haven't heard from Pierce yet and Glendale is only giving us 1 week to decide to enter their program.

For your 1st semester, you usually have class around 4pm on Monday and Thursday is just longer. Clinicals will be Friday usually from 3pm to 9pm and Saturday mornings. Clinicals can change times and location though.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I was accepted to the standard program, and am trying to decide now between GCC and COC. I have heard good things about COC, but dont know too much about GCC. Does anyone have any information on the program? Maybe current students can share their experiecne? I am wondering if the professors are good?

Hi!

I, too , will be starting the evening/weekend program in June. GCC Nursing Department told me they have 40 spaces for the summer/fall program though I don't know if that's for each the regular and the evening programs, or both combined.

It's 20 standard, 20 weekend/evening. You guys just take 2 classes in the summer together then split up during the semesters. Honestly, pick the CC that's closer to your home. Also look at what clinical sites you want. Either way both programs are reputable in their area. I like the program so far, but I cant really compare it to another since I've never been in another nursing program.

I called and they said that the classes start June 20 and are Tuesdays 2-4 and Thursdays 2-5:45 for the remainder of summer.

I don't think its for the remainder of summer. When I click to enroll it says 6/20-7/29 for all the classes. Fall starts on 8/29 so looks like we have a month off if I'm not mistaken.
