Glendale college adn fall 2017

Hi! I haven't seen any threads started for Glendale community college fall 2017. If anyone has applied, let's keep each other posted!

hi I also applied, I got invited to take the teas however I had already taken the test and I got a 59.3% so I will have to go through remediation.

Pcc is the only school that will take my score :/

Hi guys quick question... when you sent in your teas score, did you receive an email confirmation from GCC that they receive your teas score ?

ppham95 no nothing from them but ati does let you know that it was recieved but i know the ladies there are really nice and you can always just give them a call :)

hcjbfs, not nothing yet, but I hope sometime soon because yes the wait is a killer. I don't know if you applied to Pierce but I did receive an update email just stating that we will be notified sometime this month whether we were selected or not.

I notice not many people commented in this thread. Does that also mean not many applied to GCC? I hope so cuz this is my first choice...

hcjbfs, wouldn't that be nice it isn't my first choice but to be honest I don't event think I have a first choice anymore I just want to get into a program...The more I think about it the more I have been leaning towards Glendale because they have a evening/weekend schedule which would work great for me since I am commuting, traffic would be better with those hours:) At first it was a school that I just applied to increasing my chances but now to be honest I have been hoping for a spot :)

Hey guys! First time posting on this site ever. I applied, still haven't heard back. Super nervous. I saw that last year they had notifications the first week of May. Been checking email everyday.

I also noticed not many ppl commenting on this thread. Hoping the odds are in our favor!

Anabanana007, yes I hope that is true, less people better chance for us:) I wasn't sure when we were going to get notified but I thought I was told when I submitted my application that it would be sometime in May. Now that you mentioned that I feel like what I remember is correct. Well May is here so I am hoping we will get some good news...soon :)

Demetria30 same!!! Knock on wood! Random question , but did you apply to other programs as well? If so, which ones? I applied to COC and Moorpark. I am an Alternate on both. Hoping to get full on into either or maybe even glendale!

I really hope that Glendale lets us know soon! This wait is making me so nervous! ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½

Anabanana007, I also applied to LATTC, LAValley, LAPierce, LACounty, and i plan to apply to ELAC also this Monday...oh yea and COC which I wasn't selected, COC is the school I currently attend and is where I took all of my classes :)

Demetria30 COC is where I did all my prequs as well! What a small world! Yeah COC was super competitive, especially this cohort. I think most ppl who got in-in got like 85-90+ on TEAS and or had 3.7 GPA overall. I didn't have that great of TEAS and not like a 3.7 gpa. I heard last spring it was not as competitive, I was told that they took all their alternates last cohort. But who knows. They have their mandatory orientation tomorrow. Excited and nervous. I am sure you will get into Glendale and all the other schools! Smart to apply to many schools, especially since nursing is getting so competitive. I wish I could have applied to more schools for fall 2017. I really can't wait to start my nursing journey.
