i don't blame you one bit. i was in an LPN nursing program last year and at the same time I was working in a hospital. I got to see the real nitty gritty behind the scenes and was really disheartened after about three months. I am now pursuing other avenues of work and have not regreted my decision once.
:)
trust me if you know in your heart nursing is not for you then you have made a wise decision. good luck with exploring other areas.

I have decided today that I am going to give up my spot in the nursing program and let them give it to someone who is on the waiting list. I have been having problems with whether or not I really want to do nursing and after spending sometime talking about why I don't want to do nursing with my sister, I realized I need to give up my spot. I know there are many more people out there who really want this and it isn't fair for me to hold this spot any longer.
I am interested in social work and will investigate that further, but also interested in radiography and physical therapy and will investigate them also.
I hope I won't reqret my decision, but there are so many things I like about the nursing field, but there are so many more that I don't like and cannot see myself doing.
Good luck to everyone who is starting and those who have already begun. I believe nursing is a great field, but just isn't for everyone.
Thanks
