Is anyone out there waiting to find out if the got into the hybrid bridge program at GHC?
I'm not sure yet. I think the website said it would take an additional 2 years to complete. I don't want to go to school for another 2 years. I have looked at Kennesaw and NGCSU who have 1 year RN-BSN programs and will apply to both of those more than likely. I have alreaddy taken 90% of the BSN pre-reqs and plan to be done with all of them except 1 (pathophysiology) by the time this program is over. I only have 4 more to take. I am ready to be done with school so I can sit back and relax for once.
I agree I'm so tired of going and I also have lots of my bsn pre reqs taken care of. I am praying that's it's only an additional year, if not I will find an RN to msn program. I can't wait to become an RN! I see so many great jobs I would like to have. I'm trying to find a more laid back job as we speak so I won't be stressed during school.
My job isn't bad at all. I work in dialysis. I work like 4 10's right now which will go down to 3 10's when I start school. It is very fast-paced but not very stressful. It is the perfect school job. When I'm done with school though I might look into other things. I really want to do something different like ER or something where it's not the same thing over and over again. I get bored very quickly.
Oh that's good.. I just hate to bring work home after working with home health and hospice. I want move around myself ER, clinics, cath lab, ICU, l and d and I want to finish with hospice, or teaching. I just hope all those jobs are still around when I graduate. Lpn jobs were LTC only once I moved back to Atlanta without expericence.

Oh no I am not cutting back my hours except days that I have to miss. Any day that I am not in class or clinicals I will most definitely be at work. I still have bills to pay. I expect it will be an exhausting year but I will make it work.
