Heley01 May 14, 2020 That’s awesome that you’re almost done with all of your prerequisites. I am taking A&P1 this Summer and planning to take A&P2 during the fall semester. I also plan to take the TEAS in December as well. But I am not sure how long should I study before taking it LOL. 0 Likes
FutureRNToya84 May 14, 2020 Right! I actually got some advice from the ladies currently starting Nursing at GGC this fall. They told me to take at least 3 months so I can learn my strong and weak areas. I can tell you now, Math is my weakness...LOL May I ask who are you taking for A & P 1 this Summer? You never know, we may have the same professor! 0 Likes
Heley01 May 14, 2020 I guess I will start studying in October too. I heard Reading is hard and it’s my weakness. You’re taking A&P1 too? I feel much better that I am not the only one😁. I was kind of afraid because many ppl said it’s really hard and not to take during the Summer. I have ----------------------. Heley01 May 15, 2020 I haven’t ordered mine. Do you know what is MHID number? I was kind of confused. 0 Likes
FutureRNToya84 May 15, 2020 I was confused too! LOL so I contacted the bookstore and professor. It's the connect online 8th edition. Not a hardback book. --------------------- ISBN number listed on the bottom of her email was incorrect but you will look up that same title but for the connect. Heley01 May 15, 2020 Right. I found “Anatomy+ Physiology- Connect Access” in GGC bookstore. Is this is the one you purchased? I am afraid that I might order the wrong one since it’s pretty pricey😁. Thank you for telling me though. I appreciate it. 0 Likes

Heley01 May 23, 2020 Thank you!! Btw, I just read your comment on the other thread and I saw your TEAS score. You did really good. Would you mind sharing us how long did you prepare and the materials you used to study? I would really appreciate it. 0 Likes

Would you mind sharing us how long did you prepare and the materials you used to study? I would really appreciate it.Thanks. So I took some years out of school and when I returned I took three math courses: Statistics, College Algebra and beginners math course. I honestly believe that initial remedial math set me up for success. With that said, I scored 100's in math, usage and science. The reading is a lot of interpretation. So you'll read and it'll basically ask how you interpreted the passage. I overthink meanings so I screwed myself there. The usage was hands down the hardest. We live in a world where we communicate via text with horrible grammar so to have to correct punctuation that I haven't seen examples of daily was rough. I did use the ATI TEAS book (the black and yellow one) and the ATI TEAS app daily (in between classes just practice a few rounds) but I also read books. Like a lot of books ... it gave me a better sense of word placement, punctuation etc. rather than just studying the usage section in the book.My section scores were 91/100/100/100 and I ranked in the top 1% with only 3 questions wrong (all in reading LOL) HTH 0 Likes
JerseyGirl201 May 23, 2020 Oh and point and case why I missed those reading questions LOL... to answer your second part of your question I studied for 5 weeks with the majority of the serious studying being during Christmas break. 0 Likes
