GGC Nursing Fall 2021

Hello,

Currently I am a student at GGC and planning on applying to the nursing program for Fall 2021. I just wanted to see who else is planning to apply and we can share our stats.

Hi there!

I am also currently a student at GGC planning to apply this November for Fall 2021. I have four classes left. Taking two this Summer and two in the fall. Currently my GPA is a 3.4. I am currently working to try and get that up to at least a 3.8..praying LOL ...I plan to take my TEAS between December-January so I plan to studying in October. How exciting to see someone on the same path/year/school :)

That’s awesome that you’re almost done with all of your prerequisites. I am taking A&P1 this Summer and planning to take A&P2 during the fall semester. I also plan to take the TEAS in December as well. But I am not sure how long should I study before taking it LOL.

Right! I actually got some advice from the ladies currently starting Nursing at GGC this fall. They told me to take at least 3 months so I can learn my strong and weak areas. I can tell you now, Math is my weakness...LOL May I ask who are you taking for A & P 1 this Summer? You never know, we may have the same professor!

I guess I will start studying in October too. I heard Reading is hard and it’s my weakness.
You’re taking A&P1 too? I feel much better that I am not the only one?. I was kind of afraid because many ppl said it’s really hard and not to take during the Summer. I have ----------------------.

Yes I ordered online from the bookstore earlier this week. I haven't receive anything yet.

I was confused too! LOL so I contacted the bookstore and professor. It's the connect online 8th edition. Not a hardback book. --------------------- ISBN number listed on the bottom of her email was incorrect but you will look up that same title but for the connect.

Right. I found “Anatomy+ Physiology- Connect Access” in GGC bookstore. Is this is the one you purchased? I am afraid that I might order the wrong one since it’s pretty pricey?. Thank you for telling me though. I appreciate it.

Right it is very pricey! Like $181 or something. LOL Yes it's correct. And No problem at all. Feel free to PM me with any questions. : )
