GGC Fall 2022 Nursing Program (Georgia Gwinnett College)

Hello! I know the GGC 2022 Nursing Program doesn't open until November, but I was wondering if anyone else was planning to apply this upcoming Winter! Here are my stats so far: 

GPA: 4.0 

Science GPA: 4.0 (So far, this is subject to change, but I'm hoping it would stay) 

Volunteer Hours: 51 Hours

TEAS: Planning to take it during the Winter!

Typically they send you a hard copy letter in the mail or may even email you a copy. It just depends. Good luck!

I found out April 1st around 5:30 PM via email. I'm not sure if all of the decision letters have been released, I know a couple of people who have yet to receive their decision letters!

Hello! I applied for fall 2022 semester as well! I received my acceptance letter via email around 5:30pm on April 1st as well.

Thank you!! And congratulations to you as well! I’m excited and nervous at the same time LOL! I had a question. Have you gotten your BLS certification because I know we have to have that and I’m not sure how to get it. It may say in the welcoming package that they’re supposed to be mailing but we will see.

No I haven't gotten my BLS certification, not really sure if you can get it from the school cause I know they have AED certifications in the wellness recreational center and can sign up for classes, but I'm not really sure if that's the same thing. Were you able to register for classes yet? I tried registering for classes and I paid the confirmation fee, but I'm unable to register for classes. I don't know if we were supposed to wait first or what we're supposed to do

No I wasn’t able to register either and I also paid my confirmation fee. I’m guessing when the welcome package comes we will receive more information on what the next steps are that we need to take.

I emailed Nursing Admissions yesterday since my registration ticket opened yesterday at 11, but I have yet to receive an email back from them.

Yea mine opened yesterday at 12, let me know if you hear anything back

You all should be automatically registered for your first semester Nursing courses in the Fall, once you are accepted by the program. This is what they did for us when we first started. They’ll sign you up and you won’t need to actually do it. Unelss things have changed, it should be the same.
