I recently went to work for evening meeting. When I got there it had been cancelled and everyone but me was notified. I put myself in for one hours pay. I heard so many different thing about this. Some people say they would put themselves in for two hours pay. Other people say they have a union contract that mandates a half days pay. One person told me that it is too much trouble arguing with managment about it and they would not ask to be paid at all. What is the proceedure where you work?

I would have put myself in for the pay of one hour, or whatever time the meetings usually take.
