Getting Full text articles online

Does anyone know of a way to get full text medical and nursing journal articles online? I was working on a policy for my department and wanted some research on the topic, I was able to find some full text articles online and printed them out for my use, but when I tried to find them again online, I couldnt find where I even got them! I do tend to get myself lost out in cyberspace and then cant get back to my original site. Any insight??? Karen

KAREN,THE COPIES THAT YOU PRINTED OFF SHOULD HAVE THE SITE PRINTED ON THEM ,USUALLY IT IS ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR LAST PAGE.TYPE THIS IN TO WHER IT SAYS ADDRESS ON THE TOP OF YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN.TO SAY THE ADDRESS SO YOU CAN EASILY FIND IT AGAIN GO TO THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN WHEN YOU HAVE A SITE YOU WANT TO SAVE AND CLICK ON FAVORITES.IT WILL SAY-ADD OR DELETE.HIT THE ADD BUTTON AND THEN THE OK BUTTON. IT THEN IT WILL BE SAVED ON YOUR COMPUTER- LIKE AN ADDRESS BOOK OR A QUICK DIAL PHONE.TO GET TO THAT SITE,AFTER YOUR COMPUTER IS ON HIT THE START BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM LEFT OF YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN AND A LIST OF PROGRAMS WILL COME UP,HIT FAVORITES AND THE SITE YOU SAVED WILL BE THERE.I'M ASSUMING YOU HAVE AN IBM AND WINDOWS. ITS MAJIC. spitfire

Karenrndmc,

Spitfire, gave you great advice, if you still cant locate it, thry this: Most Internet Browsers have a history function, where you can see all the websites that you have visited in the past. If you know the date or close to it, you could browse your history, and see if anything jogs your memory.

Hi bshort

This is a wonderful web site. I am impressed that you the "administrator" actually responded to me! How many people are registered with you? How long have you been operating? What inspired you? And are there other web sites similar to this? Karen

Karen, welcome and I'm glad you like allnurses.com. I hope you continue to find the site useful. We have been around since 1996, currently, there are 6578 registered users for this Bulletin Board (many more who just read it), there are over 50,000 subscribers to our free newsletter. You asked what inspired this site? We'll back when I was in school in the mid 90's the Internet was not the happening thing that it is today, and it was not easy to find nursing related info on the net, so with all the free time I had in Nursing School... ya right smile.gif I put together some web pages with nursing resources that I had found, and as you can see, it has grown to more than a few webpages. Today, the site is getting about 750,000 page views a month, and over 250,000 unique visitors a month!

There are many nursing websites, https://allnurses.com/ also has one of the largest databases of nursing websites to browse or search.
