Getting accepted into USC (South Carolina) FNP program for the spring smester

Published

Hey everyone! I am very eager to start my application for FNP school. I am hoping to go to University of SC, does anyone know how difficult/what my chances are of getting in? I have my bachelors in nursing and graduated two years ago with a 3.65 gpa. For the last two years I have been working full time in the NICU. I am hoping to continue working full time through school and go part time when clinical would start. Is that doable?

It looks like USC has a good program, does anyone currently attend that could give me some insight. Thanks!

Hi Nicurn11! I can't give you much info on the USC FNP program, but as far as your chances of acceptance - I applied to their FNP program for a Fall 2016 start and I graduated with my BSN in May 2014 with a 3.5 GPA and have been working in the NICU for the last two years as well :) and I was accepted to the program! So based off my stats you have a really good chance of acceptance! Good luck :)

I just got accepted into their FNP program for this Fall 2017. I graduated with my BSN in December 2016 with honors and a 3.8 gpa. I also have been working for 3 years on a pulmonary progressive care floor at a major hospital in my area.
