Hello everyone!
I have decided to postpone my rn training for now and do cna then lpn then rn. I feel that this is the best route for me b/c i want to be as seasoned as possible.
Could any of you floridians please tell me the most affordable yet quality programs for cna training in the fort lauderdale/miami area. I actually live in pompano/north lauderdale.
Please help...much love!:redbeathe

I would defintely look into CEU (continuing education credits). In fact, even my professor has to take these every now and then.

Mcfatter Tech in Davie, and Sheridan Tech both offer affordable CNA courses. Miami Dade Community college also offers CNA training through their community education program. I recently recieved their flyer and saw that they have a class meeting Sat's from 9-2 for I think 3 months but I am not sure when that class starts. The class at Mcfatter meets from 7a-1 or 2 in the afternoon three days a week and an additional two days a week online for five hours a day, and lasts one month. I believe their next class starts in early April. They also have one starting about now if it hasn't started already, but they make you do a song and a dance before you can register so I don't know if you have time to meet their deadline. On the other hand if you're prepared to do alot of running around for a few days, maybe you can.
