Deadline for applications was April 1, 2016
The Nursing office stated they would make their decision in 2-6 weeks?!
Hoping to find other students to share this journey with me.
Good luck to everyone out there!
Had orientation today, seven hours long! It was really informative and involved team building activities and introductions to most instructors, bookstore manager, financial aid, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by how upbeat and positive everything was, and how much effort the nursing school put into the day. I left feeling like this will be a huge undertaking, but it is doable and I am not alone.
Germanna is pretty competitive, they get a lot of applicants but only accept around 70 a semester (fall & spring). I had a 4.0 and got an overall score of 90* on my TEAS. The nursing advisors are really helpful, be sure to meet with them asap and they will guide you through the application process.
Good Luck!! I am an older student, took a 30 year break to raise a family, if I can do it, so can you!
*I think it was 90, I posted my score breakdown in the TEAS thread when I took it a few months ago.
