Hi tbrown...

I didn't get into GSU...but it didn't matter because I had already gotten into my first choice school (Brenau) and GSU was my 2nd choice. But as for your info...my GPA is 3.1 and on the NET I scored in the 99th percentile, 95% overall, post-high school. If it wasn't for my gettin into my first choice i'd be freaking out over not gettin in. the funny thing is i had forgotten all about my GSU application until the letter came on friday. hope that info helps. There's still hope because from what i hear wait listed is not so bad....

Hi Mexarican,

Congrats on getting into your first choice!!!!! I really don't understand why they are setting the standards so high because from what I hear the program is not all that great. I also got into my first choice which was Mercer and I am so excited about starting.

yea funny thing is i heard that too about GSU from a few people when they found out i had applied to go there. not sure how much validity there is to that but sometimes there is some grain of truth to it if a number of people say it. i also believe there NCLEX pass rate has been in low 80's lately...not sure what to make of it:uhoh21: . But, if i had only been accepted there i'd take that any day over waiting till the next application round, For Sure! I'm just glad i got into my 1st choice:monkeydance: and didn't have to make hard decisions, like only getting into my 2nd choice and having to commute a long way or worse yet not gettin into a program at all :bluecry1:

Hi Nokueze,

I received my acceptance letter from Mercer University about a month ago.....But it all depends on when you applied, they send out acceptance letters until August!!!!!
