Georgia State University nursing program Spring 2022

Updated:   Published

Just wanted to start a thread to see who was applying for GSU program for Spring of 2022. Wondering about everyone's stats.

OK that’s awesome! Congrats to you!! I know you are super excited! Hopefully I will be in someone’s program in the fall. I’m applying to multiple schools in the fall.

@ManiRN2B I just declined Brenau I'm now going to go to Piedmont University in Athens lmao funny how life works.... What schools are you close to??

So you will go to Piedmont???? I’m in Kennesaw do I was trying to find schools close to me. I’m looking into Clayton, Kennessaw, and a few more. Why did you turn down the other school?

@ManiRN2B because Piedmont has a better NCLEX pass rate and not to mention I live in Athens so it's closer to me I heard the program is just better as well it was actually my first choice LOL .... I was enroll at Clayton I didn't like that they turned my 3.6 GPA into  2.7 transfer GPA weird right ugh lmao I think they just wanted me to pay for more classes I was like no ma'am

I don’t blame you. I’ve looked into Clayton too but they do another placement test. I’m burnt out from TEAS. I don’t feel like doing any more placement test. I’m going to reapply to Georgia state for fall. I’m retaking TEAS the end of January. How did you do on TEAS?? Does piedmont require TEAS???

Hello all, I’m currently a student at SCTC finished prerequisites in may 2021. Transferred to GSU perimeter but it seems impossible to reach someone to get registered for classes. Do anyone have tips on that, or should I just stay at SCTC.
Thank you

@ManiRN2B how do you like Ksu? I’m thinking about transferring for many reasons. Btw How are their grading throughout their program? The program I’m in now only takes exam grades into consideration so every assignments graded are not considered which is weird. To move forward all exams must be passed at 80 or more so accumulative grading is nonexistent

Good afternoon! I am not in the nursing program at KSU. I was denied the first time I applied. I didn’t reapply for fall 2022. I am currently at Georgia State right now hoping to get accepted there for fall. If not, I will probably reapply to KSU for Spring. Where are you going to school? Are you in the nursing program?

Hey so sorry you’re going through this. I pray a more positive outcome for next time. But I am however it’s not working out right now. It’s horrible. I go to Brenau.

@ManiRN2Bwhew that makes me glad I didn't go with Brenau that is so crazy that they only take exams into account the minimum grade you need to keep at Piedmont is a 75.... I've honestly heard horror stories about Brenau how it's all over the place but trust me if that was the only place that accepted me I probably would have stuck it out and tried to make it work LOL....
