Just wanted to start a thread to see who was applying for GSU program for Spring of 2022. Wondering about everyone's stats.
Does anyone know how many times you can take TEAS for Georgia State nursing program in a years time? I know some schools say 2 times in 12 month period. I don’t see it anywhere on GSU website. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I took it today and didn’t do as well as I wanted after studying a lot. So discouraging! ☹️

An advisor in the admissions I spoke with the end of July said it's not required this upcoming semester but helps a lot with application points because they determine everything on a point system. If you don't have any, it's no penalty but if you do, it helps.
Are you applying to Georgia State?? I’m hoping to get in. I know it is so competitive. My grades are good but my TEAS score is not the best. So we will see! ??

Hey there! Yes I did apply. Deadline is October 1st. I hope and pray I get in as well because I got waitlisted over the Summer. My situation is the same as yours. Grades are good but tea score isn’t the best… I wonder when we will found out?! And Good Luck to you!!

Did you get waitlisted with your not so good TEAS score? Have you applied to other schools as well? I applied to Kennessaw too.

Yes they waitlisted me with not so good score so there is hope. I think my letters of recommendation, community service, and essay helped and my science GPA is a 3.8. I applied to a few schools, GSU, Mercer, GGC, and 2 associate programs as well. I started my application for Emory but I haven’t finished it.

Yes it’s my first choice too. I’m in Gwinnett county but doesn’t take me long to get downtown at all.

That’s good to know. I didn’t make it into Kennessaw. I had the grades but not the TEAS score. So glad GSU looks at other things besides TEAS and grades. I have a good overall GPA and minimal science GPA. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you! Did you not consider Kennessaw?
