Is anyone already planning out their application to the accelerated program for Fall 2019 entry? FYI, there is a new deadline of February 15! I am so excited/nervous. Anyone else?

I have a 3.72 GPA, 4.0 Science and 90 TEAS
The waiting has been horrible. I check my email multiple times a day. Both of your stats are great! I am worried about my GPA because I think you’re right...that most of the points come from having a good GPA. Hopefully the waiting will all be over soon!

My email and I have a serious relationship that I think is unhealthy.
I called today and they are still making decisions but might e-mail or email and mail or just mail decisions all the way through April. It was just a be patient statement when I called. ?

They certainly aren’t the best at sticking to deadlines... I hope they let us know before finals so we don’t have the stress from wondering!
I've only applied to the traditional as a post-Bach, but this forum is way more active than the other one. I also wish they had a definite deadline as a professional courtesy. Maybe that will change in the future but that doesn't apply to us.
I was hoping that the ACE letter/emails would go out first and then the traditional, but it seems like only one person has received news.
My TEAS was a 90, overall GPA 3.21, institutional 3.94, if they take the highest attempted science courses, science GPA is 3.6, and 200 volunteer hours.

I should've just made the group for both the ACE and traditional. You are welcome to get your frustration out here though! I agree about giving a deadline as a courtesy. If I am going to start the program in the fall, I would have to quit my job and move to a new place and the later they let us know, the less time I would have to get that all figured it. It's not helping the stress factor! Keep us posted if you hear anything about traditional ?
Just now, Annasue said:When did you put your application in? I put mine in before Feb 15 and I'm really doubting my chances now.
I put mine in around mid-January. I don't think they have rolling admissions so getting your application in earlier wouldn't necessarily make you get a decision earlier. Try not to worry about that! Your stats are great and on par with those that have shared stats and gotten accepted in the past. I won't be taking any classes over the summer. I am finishing the last two of my pre-reqs this semester! Human growth/development and abnormal psych ?
Yea they don’t do Rolling admissions. I think people whose GPA is above a certain standard are automatically getting it. And then they comb through the rest of them to fill the rest of the seats. Also, most of the admission committee are actual teachers so they aren’t constantly working on it all day everyday like we would hope they were. They have meetings but I don’t know if they do it everyday or for how long.

I don't think it's even that honestly, regarding GPA and automatically getting it. I spoke with someone in person who indicated that it seems to be a piece by piece process (like the send out those automatic ones...but only as they make progress through the pile, as it were, was my sense). I'm dying to know who's actually gotten in (more than one person? how many? that question is driving me bonkers). My GPA and TEAS are both really, really high - I mean pretty much couldn't be higher, I did all the volunteer hours, and I also had someone check on the back end that every single component of my application was present correctly in the computer system. (Paranoia)! Aaaaand I still haven't heard either. It really seems like there is no real "process" to them being sent out - but I did confirm that if they accept you it comes via both email and snail mail. They were even more wishy-washy a few days ago when I went about when we'd know as opposed to when I spoke to them the week prior (this time it was just, "you'll hear in the next few weeks..."). Pretty sure only rejections come via snail mail only, and at the tail end.
In the end all we've got to work with are scattered bits of information from administration and speculation. So here's another one to tack on; I think there isn't an official/explicit process on the website or provided to us because there isn't one. I've decided that the final decision will come after finals to lower expectations each time I check this forum/my email for updates. I don't plan on decreasing the times I check, but I hope this will help my sanity as crunch time rolls around.
