Georgia State Perimeter College ASN 2022

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys!! I wanted to know if any of you guys planned on applying to georgia state perimeter ASN program in the Spring time?? I wanted to hear yall input, stats, TEAS, acceptance rate and everything else! also I had question. Does it matter if you failed other non nursing related courses? like does that automatically disqualify? or do they just focus on the courses needed for nursing?? but overall I know there deadline is July 31st so im nervous!

Hey, just curious as to why you both don’t think you’ll get accepted? Look at this way, you got the email saying that you meet the minimum requirements so that makes you one step closer! As long as it didn’t state that you don’t meet them then we’re gonna stay positive! ??? if you don’t mind can you share your stats.?

GPA 3.4

science GPA 3.6

overall TEAS 78

math 89

Reading 80

im just comparing my scores to everyone else’s?

I compare my stats a lot too, I think it’s normal to do so but yours look really good, I know a lot of these programs are very competitive but I believe in us! We got this!

Well for me the main reason is that I don't have A&P II or Microbiology done yet and I'm just thinking there will probably be enough applicants that do have them done

Also, years ago I used to go to GGC, when I did not know I wanted to go into nursing and was not able to focus on school, mainly bc I really could not afford to go to GGC? I got an F and a D in electives that just happen to be listed on the nursing general ED list, so now those are going to really count against me☹️

So I don't think my chances are good this application cycle, but I just wanted to know that I did everything I could!!

GPA 3.3 (Not sure if this is right. I just averaged together all the classes I've taken that are listed under nursing gen ED)

Science GPA 4.0 (also not sure if I calculated this right. I just used my A&P I grades and left out intro to biology)

Overall TEAS 92

Math 100

Reading 89.4

Thanks!! I studied like crazy trying to give myself a chance. But I'm still not confident at all so I'm prepping for what to do if/when I don't get in.

Haha yeah, I still have A&P II and micro in the fall. I think the nursing bio classes would be the most important for admissions too. You should be fine without history though! You can take it one of the summers since the nursing program doesnt have Summer classes.

Anybody else sweating yet?? Every time I see a email from them I panic?

ugh I am so impatient. I’ve not heard anything yet. I stalked previous forums on this site for the last few years rounds of admissions. the trend seems to be that we will hear back mid September. I hope sooner than that but we will see.
