Published

Hey guys!! I wanted to know if any of you guys planned on applying to georgia state perimeter ASN program in the Spring time?? I wanted to hear yall input, stats, TEAS, acceptance rate and everything else! also I had question. Does it matter if you failed other non nursing related courses? like does that automatically disqualify? or do they just focus on the courses needed for nursing?? but overall I know there deadline is July 31st so im nervous!

If you’ve studied mostly the a and p of science you should look over life and physical science some. There was a couple of questions that surprised me. But overall, it really wasn’t bad at all.

Thank you!
I’m looking over Brian Craft YT videos for Math and Carolyn McAlisters YT videos for both Reading and English.

I just took practice test c and didn’t do so well on it, did you take any of the ATI practice tests? what type of life science?? was the test comparable to any practice tests you used?

I took the practice tests and didn’t do as well on them as I did on the actual TEAS. Don’t let it psych you out like it did me!

I’m really hoping this is the case for me and ATI purposely does that to get us to study harder or something ?

That’s exactly what I thought! I took the ATI book practice tests and the ones online, and I was really discouraged by the scores. But the actual TEAS seemed a little more straightforward to me. You’ll do fine ?

I used Mometrix. And I did practice test upon practice test. I used quizlet and TEAS Mastery app.

Yeah, the ATI book I bought and didn’t even use it. Those tests are harder than the actual exam

for TEAS registration, are we allowed to select the allied health for our proctor type? or does it have to be nursing?

Should I buy the ATI Practice Test ($80)?! I already have 8 Practice Test already with Mometrix Academy (online version).

No girl. Mometrix will prepare you enough.  Honestly just calm you nerves and know you’ve got this. You will see it isn’t near as hard as you think it will be. Good vibes!

AHH!!! I just took the TEAS and got an 89.3!! somehow I managed to get a 100 on the math section. I was so scared but truly the practice tests were so much harder.

CONGRATS!! WHAT A SCORE!!
Giving us some tips girl!!

mometrix book for the most part, I also used the ATI study guide made by ATI, gave a pretty good outline of it all. mometrix covers a lot more than what I saw on the exam. the english language arts section was somehow my lowest score, I got an 80 on that one, it was decently challenging. for studying I would rewrite information coming from the ATI study guide and mometrix book and I took as many practice tests possible. I scored higher on the actual exam compared to any of my practice tests.
