i would like to know if all the nursings schools in georgia has a waiting list? if so how long is the wait? secondly how many semesters long are the lpn programs in GA? any info would be greatly appreciated ...FYI, i did a search but came up with nothing specific....

TIA;)

Many schools in GA do not have a waiting list, however most schools are very competitive (hundreds of applicants for only a few spots). I believe the more prereqs. you have under your belt, the better your chances..provided your grades are As & Bs. Go to some of the websites for schools w/ practical nursing diplomas (Dekalb Tech, Gwinnett Tech, Athens Tech, etc.) These websites will tell you how long their lpn program is. I think they are about 5 or 6 quarters. Keep digging and you will find some answers.

It may be good to check into schools that start an LPN program each quarter. Those that I know of are Atlanta Area Tech, and the tech colleges in Macon, Swainsboro, and Dublin. There may be more.
