UNG BSN Nursing Fall 2018

U.S.A. Georgia

Hi everyone!

My name is Megan and I applied to the BSN program at UNG for Fall 2018. According to the university site, we're supposed to begin our online Nursing class in the summer of '18 before the program.

Im hoping to meet other students who applied for the program! I'm hoping to get accepted and a scholarship as well, things look bright! I did well on my HESI and have a great GPA. Does anyone know when we should be hearing if we got accepted into the program? I know the deadline is Dec. 15.

Im also currently living in CA but plan on moving to GA soon. Because I'm an out-of-state transfer student, I didn't choose a specific campus. Wherever I end up is fine by me! :) I look forward to meeting you all and going through this journey together :)

Does anyone know if you repeat a class, do they average the two or do they replace the grade?

This is pretty surprising. Must have been a really tough field!

hey guys, i'm currently going into my sophomore year of prereqs at gsu and was wondering if ung required community service hours and letters of req? I don't see it on their requirements but I just wanted to see if anyone else provided them?

I'm interested in the ung program!

it doesn't require those. it's strictly based on prerequisites and HESI score.

Hey, everyone! I am a 2nd semester student on the Gainesville campus and just wanted to say congratulations to everyone that got accepted for Fall 2018 cohort! We can't wait to have you join us in August!

Please let me know if you have any questions about anything before you start the program! I know it can be stressful and worrisome trying to figure out what all is going to happen.

P.S. Please come up to us 2nd semester students and say hi or ask any questions if you see us in the halls! It is our pleasure to be able to help new students and put your mind at ease. 2nd semester students did that for us when we were just starting and it was so awesome to have that support!

Hi everyone- I know this thread is a bit outdated, but I had a quick question and was hoping someone might have an answer. I'm applying for the Fall 2019 cohort at UNG. I'm a post-baccalaureate student and am repeating science courses that have expired this Fall. I have a degree from UGA and was wondering if the GPA transfers just the same as it was there (3.6). Thanks in advance.
