Hello, have anyone graduated or are currently enrolled at SCTC in Griffin, Ga. ? I applied for the PN and ADN program and I'm scheduled to take my teas test February 17th. I'm really nervous because every school is so competitive in Georgia. Been out of college for 5 years so I'm hoping I get a good score on my teas test and be accepted.

Let us know how you do on your TEAS test the 17th!! I'm thinking about scheduling mine for the 20th.. I'm just so nervous!

Hello, so I am taking the PSB-HAOE instead of the teas at SCTC for the PN program. I decided not to go through with the ADN program.

Hey there! I'm going tomorrow to speak with someone about their program. I noticed some classes meet 4 days a week from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. Is this right? I have three kids and a husband. They have school too, so just trying to gauge how the classes are really scheduled.

Yes, that is correct. And when clinicals start we may have to be at hospitals at like 6am.. But the nursing program is full time. I think M-F or M-T.

I'm going to find out more tomorrow! I'm excited to talk to them and find out exactly how the schedule works with my husbands schedule. Either that or I'm going to have to find a nanny!

I just asked the girl I know in the program. She said it is 8:30 to 3:30, Monday - Thursday.

Hello .

If you retake a class will the accept your highest score or overall ?

Overall.

Did you end up getting in there PN program?.

Hello, no i missed the deadline to turn in all my paper work. I will apply for next fall.

Oh ok. I hope you get in. I went to visit the school last week. I have 4 classes I have to take in order qualify for entrance in RN program. When I went to LPN school my biggest regret was not pre studying material. At the school I went to in NY, they had staggered enrollment, which I love. You didnt have strict deadlines. But I applied last minute and then started within 2 weeks. But here it seems you can have months after you apply. I would definitely pre study phmarmacology for nurses, dosage calculations, abbreviations for rx for nurses, medical terminology. Those that did scored higher consistently on exams. Especially pharmacology after pharmacology and first nursing class came back and half the class was gone. It was like survivor after every nursing class you waited to see who made it. We started with 30 in our original class and only 8 of us were finished.

Hi. Did you apply to there RN program yet. And did you take the TEAS V exam.
