Hi! We ae relocationg to Bluffton, SC and I understand Savannah is about 20 minutes away. I am a NICU nurse and looking for work in that area. Any insight into hospitals to try? To stay away from. Any insights into anything in that area would be great! I would like to stay in NICU but am open to some change too. Thanks everyone!!!!

Hi,
I live in the Atlanta area so I have no information for you. I remember reading some posts on here though from people with comments on the Savannah area. Try going to the search button and entering Savannah and I think you may find some comments. Good luck to you on your move. We were in Savannah for a quick weekend and also spent a day at the beach in Hilton Head. It is gorgeous there!

Memorial is probably the best in Savannah area along with Candler/St.Joseph. Basically they are the only two in Savannah but you are close enough to Hilton Head or maybe even Walterboro, SC has a hospital. And don't forget about Statesboro, GA has Bulloch County Regional. If you want to drive up to Augusta (where I live) we have:
Medical College of GA (level I trauma) 520 beds
University Hospital (med control) 581 beds
2 Veteran's Hospital
Eisenhower Hospital at Ft. Gordon 300 beds
Doctor's Hospital 354 beds
St. Joseph's Hospital (ever town has one) 300 beds
Walton Rehab hosp.
Aiken Regional (in Aiken, SC) 225 beds
McDuffie Regional (Thomson, GA) 47 beds

You posted a long time ago, but I was wondering if you still were looking for information about the local Savannah hospitals? I am an RN in Savannah.
Let me know!
