Georgia Highlands ADN Nursing TRAD Fall 2019

How many people usually apply and how many are allowed in? Also how soon do people hear whether they have been accepted or not?

Ah awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Dumb question alert...(obviously for next year)

With the app deadline being April 1 and spring semester not ending until after that, I'm assuming you can still apply while finishing up the last prereq in the spring? Is that correct?

Yes- i attended the information session and she said if you are taking a prereq in the spring, they will receive that grade.

I didn’t get in ?? if anyone didn’t get in last admit cycle, did you retake courses before applying again?

Are you reapplying for 2020 or did you get into a different program? I'm applying for 2020 and take the TEAS on the 28th. I read earlier in the thread that you had a bachelor's degree (I do, as well); unfortunately, I don't think any of that is taken into consideration. Heck, they may not even know. They probably just look at the pre-reqs/TEAS/CNA. We're just a number ?.

For any that got in and have a sec to answer a quick question, what is the grading scale for nursing? Is 70 a "C"?

The info session mentioned you needed to maintain a C, but I heard that the scale might be different.
