Hello Everyone,

I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. I haven't heard anything yet, but hopefully I will within the next two weeks. Do you have all of your prereqs complete? Have you taken the NET? If your application is already complete and they have received your transcripts, you should hear back from them pretty quickly. Good luck. I know waiting is tough!

I still have a few classes that I'm taking this summer & I will be taking Religion at Georgia Perimeter next summer. I took the NET 4/18/09 & had a composite of 86. 93% on math and 79% in reading. I spoke to a counselor today and was informed that they are going through all applications as they come in and that I should hear something by the 1st of June. I hope you hear your good news soon.

Hey everyone!

My name is Kumkum

I found out about GBCN towards the end of april.. I took the net in feb at clayton state. I got a 87 composite and my reading comp was 76 and my math was 97. My gpa is a 3.31.

On another note..

This financial aid stuff is killing me.. I totally did not know that we had to have the green sheet in by may 1ST!!! Plus my parents filed their taxes and declared me as a dependent so our estimated financial contribution on the FAFSA is huge!!!! I agree with some of you guys finding scholarships or anything is sooo hard.. most of the deadlines have passed..

We just finished A&P II together. I'm Angel. I've been looking everywhere for scholarships and they are very hard to find, but I will keep searching. I don't think I'll have any success with any this semester, but I will jump on it early for the next one.

I know I really hope I can get the money to go but from what everyone was saying at open house.. mercer will help you with money.. as in.. they wont let that be the reason you don't get to go to the school.. I guess we got to wait and see what happens.. so did you find out if you're in or not???

I spoke to an admissions counselor today, she stated that they are reviewing applications as they come in and that I should hear something before the 1st of June. As for the money, I may have to get student loans:smackingf Hopefully things will work out for us all. If not I'll just have to do what I have to do in order to attend.

I am also playing the waiting game I submitted my application after i found out that I had been put on the waiting list at Georgia State. Hopefully we will all hear from them really soon. I wish everyone here the best of luck... and mfisher i will be taking Nutr 3300 this summer as well with that teacher that everyone says is crazy so hopefully I will be able to meet you and we could study sometimes!
