I applied to the program as well, I really liked this program.
My stats are the following a 3.2 for undergraduate, I got a 3.8 on my pre-requisites. I have over two years of volunteering experience in a hospital. I have shadowed nurses in the Pulmonary unit and Surgical ICU. Additionally, I assist patients with their food.
The interview was okay for me, I stutter a bit. And, I believe my essay was great, but the problem was the word limit. I do not work well with word limit.
What other programs did you apply to?
Well good luck!!! You sound like a super strong candidate too-- I hate not knowing exactly what they're looking for though. And the waiting stinks.
I applied to George Mason's ABSN as well. I am a VA resident so it would be cheaper and I like their program too (only 12 months). If I got into both, I would be incredibly torn. I was thinking of applying to JHU and GWU but I have two little kids (one being only 12 weeks) and I don't want to do that commute. Where else did you apply?
I got it too! Though mine came on Tuesday. Wonder what that means (I won't think about it hahaha)? I applied to GT and GMU. GMU is dirt cheap but only a BSN. The loans you can get for a masters are all fed so they're easier to pay back. I am also halfway through Public Service Loan Forgiveness so that plays a part. My law school loans will go away after I finish my 10 years of public service. Then I'll have nursing loans...but the majority of hospitals are nonprofit so count for PSLF as well. Hope they don't take away that program!
It's been the longest week ever!! I'm constantly checking my emails and the application status on ApplyYourself.com! I got a 3.4 in undergrads and 3.9 in prerequisites. I have a strong math and science background, decent essay, and great recommendation letters. The videos were.... rather interesting I sort of blanked at one point. haha Best of luck everyone!!!

I haven't seen a thread started yet for GT's fall CNL program. I am soooooooo anxious. I know we should hear by April. I got such a great feeling about Georgetown and its program...not to mention the admissions director has been nothing but helpful with all of my questions. Anyone else apply?
My stats (in case I get in heh): 3.6 undergrad, law school degree (not a great GPA b/c of the grading curve), 4.0 prereq, hospital volunteer for 6 months, no med experience except for volunteering. Video interview was lukewarm (nerves and I had a tech snag) and essay was also ok/ good (nothing earth shattering but it was well written I think).
