Congratulations everyone! What is everyone's game plan to pay for the cost of attendance and living expenses? This program is quite a bit more expensive than other ABSNs and working during the program might not be an option. What does GWU offer in its program that makes it your pick over other, cheaper programs? Is the total cost of the program and the student loan debt that comes with it, worth it? Why? From what I gather from talking with financial aid, GWUs main scholarship for the ABSN is their "Washington squared" co-op with Medstar. From what I understand, the terms of this seems pretty steep as well and we will be signing on to work with a hospital for at least 3 years with no guarantee of what department or in a area we wish to further our careers. Just seeing what some of your thoughts are as I crunch the numbers and decide where to accept :)

I might be wrong, but I think the majority of your clinicals take place at medstar...if you want to be exposed to different work environments besides the 1 hospital system, you may be missing out. Trade off for a guaranteed job I guess.
