I too am applying to GMU for Fall 2014. I had a 3.5 from my first university and then received a 4.0 for all my required science classes and a 4.0 for nursing pre-requisites over all. My GPA for all post-baccalaureate work is a 4.0. When I talked to a counselor they told me I looked good so we'll see if I get accepted. Good luck!
I got my acceptance to Mason last week. Not the nursing program yet though. I'm a little confused by it because it says my intended major is pre-nursing. Anyone else get anything?
You will receive 2 acceptance letter, 1 from GMU, 1 from the nursing program. Receiving one is not the guarantee of the other.
Yes, you were suppose to select nursing as the intended major when you applied. That is why is shows up as pre-nursing on your acceptance letter. Once you receive an acceptance from the school of Nursing, then you are a nursing major.
I also received my acceptance to GMU last week. I can't wait for the Nursing program to finally send out their decisions!
Hey everyone! I just got a letter back for GMU and I got wait listedI graduated with a 3.5 GPA and 3.4 GPA in prereqs. How is everyone else doing?
Im sorry I withdrew my application because I got into my first choice nursing school. Supposedly it was incredibly competitive this year for GMU! I hope you get off the wait list! Did they give you a number?
