I have applied to GB for rpn beginning Sept. 2012 just wanted to know if anyone else applied and if you know how much time do we have to wait to hear from them. Also is it just me or is GB not doing any entrance exam this year?

picimadar, its good to at least hear something from them. I applied to GB and humber I got a link form humber do book my entrance exam and a temp. student number. I really want to hear from Gb as they are my 1st choice. What I also want to know about is the entrance exam anyone has any sample questions?

I posted about the entrance exam already.. it covers science, math and writing.. I dont remember specific questions as this was a few years ago. If you arnt good at doing basic arithmetic math like fractions, etc I would brush up on those, also make sure you are well aware of how to structure a essay intro (thesis), body, conclusion. Sounds easy but a lot of people dont do too well because they forget basics

Sweets, GB is also my number one choice!!!!!! I also heard back from Humber with the same info, asking me to book test etc, just haven't chosen my date yet.

Crossing fingers that we can both get into PN at GB for September!!!

Nice Johnstoy, I should have done the same thing seen that I really want to go to GB. I booked my test for humber for feb.11. Cheers to GB, and heres to us getting accepted. All the best

Went on the STU-VIEW page today and my status has been changed from Admission Decision is Pending to Under Admissions Review, does anyone know what the next step is or how long the next step will take?

I can't answer for sure but that's what my applications for a University and 1 college I've applied to. I think what it means is that they have your marks so now it's just desicion time. When it was pending, I think they just hadn't inputted your marks into their system or hadn't recieved them.

Pending just means your application has made it from their OCAS files to their pile of applications to be looked over. I wouldn't expect to hear anything decisive back from colleges until later this month. A lot of them require extra paperwork and will really scrutinize that and your transcripts. Yesterday was the last day to apply, so they could have had hundreds of applications come in just then. It takes time to review, and they have until May. They're not going to rush.

Thanks for the reply guys. @ picimadar its not saying pending any more its saying Under Admissions Review. I did get conformation that they didn't need any other paper work from me. Keep us updated with the acceptance letter when you get them guys.

Well, same diff, under review just means you're being compared to the pile now, but don't worry, I'm sure you'll get in!
